Healthy Community Charity Golf Tournament / Fundraiser
Albany, Georgia – Monday June 14, 2021, 9:00 am
The AME Church, Sixth Episcopal District, Sons of Allen Men’s Ministry, Women’s Missionary Society along with the SWGA Sickle Cell Awareness will host a charity golf tournament at Stonebridge Golf & Country Club in Albany, Georgia on Monday, June 14, 2021 at 9:00 am to benefit the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia’s 50th Anniversary Celebration.
“We’re inviting all church members, friends, supporters, foursome teams, duffers, single-golfers and those seeking bragging-rights to come out and compete in this fun-filled tournament. It’s a Shotgun Start/Scramble tournament played from wherever each teams’ Best-Ball lands. This is both a fundraiser and friend raiser – as we kick off this fundraiser to benefit the Sickle Cell Foundation of Georgia” stated Bro. Stan Smith, Sons of Allen President. Sponsorship packages are available.
The excitement begins as you tee-off with hopes of winning the tournament and a host of special prizes along the way. Be the first to make a Hole-In-One on the prize hole and win a new car. Take the Dixon Golf Challenge on their prize hole and you could walk away with a new Aurelius Golf Driver or a sleeve of Dixon branded golf balls. The excitement continues as you enter-to-win a shopping spree and much more. In addition, a variety of hole sponsors representing local businesses will be on the greens to enlighten and entertain you. Now, even if you don’t golf, you can still win great prizes at our Silent Auction and Raffle.
We know you like to eat so we’ll whip up a light Continental Breakfast at the Clubhouse to get you started. Not to interrupt your game – a box lunch will be served to golfers on-the-green. We’ll recognize the winners of the tournament at our 19th Hole Awards Ceremony with First, Second, Third, Longest Drive and Closest-to-the-Pin trophies and prizes. We agree – Too Much Fun! Come join us!
