Big Bethel AME Church Hosts Morris Brown College (MBC) Day on Sunday, March 17, 2024

The historic Big Bethel African Methodist Episcopal (AME) Church will celebrate the Annual Morris Brown College (MBC) Day Service on Sunday, March 17, 2024 during the 10:00 am worship service, in the sanctuary where the college was founded in 1881.

The highly anticipated celebration will conclude the 2024 Morris Brown College’s National Alumni Founders Day Celebration held in Atlanta, Georgia. The women serve as honorary chairpersons and receive the prestigious Women’s Day Award. They include the Honorable Keisha Lance Bottoms, former Atlanta Mayor; the Honorable Judge Penny Brown Reynolds; Mrs. Mary Ann Fester, the Big Bethel AME Church Anniversary first lady; Mrs. Marie Wainwright Brown, Miss Morris Brown College for 1947-1948, the oldest living “Miss Morris Brown College” and a member of Big Bethel AME Church.

Speaker for the program will be Mr. Eula L. Adams of Denver, Colorado, retired corporate executive.
