Cara Fields to Oversee Retail Sales and Operations in Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, and South Carolina
Atlanta, GA, July 13, 2022 — AT&T* has named Cara Fields to oversee business in the Southeast States as Vice President and General Manager. In this role, Fields will manage more than 2,000 AT&T employees and nearly 500 retail locations.
“Fields is a proven leader who brings a wealth of experience managing consumer markets,” said John Palmer, SVP Sales and Distribution, AT&T East Region. “Her successful track record, combined with a deep commitment to customers make her a terrific fit to lead operations in the Southeast States.”
With over 20 years in the business, Fields has experience in sales, operations and distribution, leading large diverse teams of sales and service professionals. Prior to her current role, Fields was Vice President and General Manager of AT&T’s Gulf States market based in Birmingham, AL. She’s also held a number of leadership positions in Care and Operations and Retail in Dallas, TX and Atlanta, GA.
Fields is actively involved in the community and has a passion for mentoring women in her industry. She is a member of the United Way Women of Tocqueville Society and a board member of IGNITE National, a nonprofit, that encourages young women to declare their political ambition.
