ATLANTA – Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms issued an Executive Order declaring a state of emergency due to the COVID-19 pandemic and that public assemblages, events and gatherings of 50 or more persons be prohibited within the City and territorial limits of the City of Atlanta until March 31, 2020.
“This is a serious and evolving health threat that warrants action,” said Mayor Bottoms. “As guidelines and recommendations are adjusted daily by our federal and state partners, we will assess and adjust our policies accordingly.”
