Allen University’s Scholarship Tour Visits Georgia

Columbia, South Carolina –The Allen University “All That Can Be Imagined” Scholarship Tour recently continued in Georgia to surprise five students with scholarships.

The first stop in Georgia was in Conyers on July 1, where a scholarship of up to $40,000 was awarded to Tiana Fischer. Fisher, a graduate of Salem High School, will be a member of the Allen University Band of Gold tuba section. She plans to major in criminal justice.

“I’m most looking forward to the HBCU experience,” Fisher said. “It has always been my dream to attend an HBCU.”

The tour continued the following day on July 2 in Atlanta. Jordan Stone, a graduate of Frederick Douglass High School, received a scholarship of up to $40,000. Stone will be a member of the Allen University “Lady Jackettes” Dance Team and plans to major in sociology.

The second stop of the day was in Decatur to present Tya’ Morris with a scholarship of up to $40,000. Morris will also be a member of the Allen University “Lady Jackettes” Dance Team and major in biology. She is a graduate of Miller Grove High School.

The final stop in Georgia was in Stone Mountain to surprise best friends Ky’Leigha Robinson and Jazmin Randolph with a scholarship. Both Robinson and Randolph also graduated from Miller Grove High School. Robinson, who will receive a scholarship of up to $28,000, will be a member of the track team and plans to major in biology.

Randolph received a scholarship of up to $40,000 and will be a member of the Allen University “Lady Jackettes” Dance Team. She plans to major in psychology.

Director of Admissions Charles Singley said Allen University is assisting students with achieving their dreams.

“By providing financial assistance to students, they will be able to receive a quality education without having a financial burden,” Singley said. “These students have all expressed their appreciation for Allen helping them to achieve “All That Can Be Imagined.”
