I am not crazy!
I am blessed beyond measures. I am that young African-American Child who grew up in the housing projects. And every night her mother knelt down beside her and prayed for miracles, good health, happiness and continued HOPE IN GOD!
I am not crazy!
I am that young woman with misconceptions believing that everyone that I met in college would have wisdom, universal academic African-American Empowerment, that would prepare “all students” for success in their lives. Only to discover that I was wrong. Based upon my personal experiences.
I am not crazy!
I am that premature child with health issues, and mama would caterwaul in her ears and brain, “The Elevator Is Not Working. Daughter You Got To Take The Stairways!”
I am not crazy!
I am “THE EAGLE CHEROKEE WARRIOR” who understands that “I can’t soar in the sky with a broken wing. Therefore, I must keep FAITH, HOPE AND TRUST IN GOD!”
I am not crazy!
I am the BLACK POETIC PREPOSITION of LORRAINE HANSBERRY. “Child when do you think is the time, to love somebody the most? When they done good and made things easy for everybody?”
“Well then, you ain’t through learning at all. When you measure him right , make sure you done taken into account, what hills and valleys he come through before he got to wherever he is” (Lorraine Hansberry).
I AM ME! YES I AM ME!
Created by GOD! I am the characteristics of an “EAGLE” that flies alone at high altitude with PRIDE and COMMITMENT TO HELP OTHERS, REGARDLESS OF RACE, RELIGIOUS DENOMINATIONS, OR ECONOMICS! I AM TENACIOUS. I TRY TO STAY AWAY FROM CRITICAL, JUDGEMENTAL PEOPLE WITH NO CONCERN FOR OTHERS.
