The Truist Foundation Fellowship, powered by Watson Institute, offers a transformative opportunity for Georgia-based entrepreneurs, small business owners, and nonprofit founders committed to driving community impact. Program Overview:
The Fellowship runs from February 8 to June 12, 2025, combining virtual workshops, in-person events, and hands-on community engagement. Fellows participate in:
- <b>Weekly Virtual Workshops:</b> Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays from 10:30 am to 12:30 pm ET.
- <b>In-Person Immersive:</b> A 1-day kickoff event in Atlanta on <b>February 8, 2025</b>, from 10 am to 5 pm ET.
- <b>Basecamp Workshops:</b> Fellows lead a 1-3 day workshop in their communities, engaging approximately 30 participants to foster collaboration, practice skill-building, and receive feedback.
- <b>Summit Event:</b> The program culminates in an <b>In-Person Summit</b> on <b>June 12, 2025</b>, where Fellows present their ventures to an audience of funders, local leaders, and entrepreneurs.
Community Impact and Development:
Each Fellow receives a Community Development Stipend to host impactful events in their community. This support enables Fellows to organize workshops, networking events, and collaborative projects, enhancing their community’s growth and engagement.
Pitch Training and Summit:
Throughout the program, Fellows refine their storytelling and pitching skills. At the Summit, selected Fellows will showcase their ventures to a high-profile audience, creating opportunities to build partnerships, secure funding, and expand their impact.

Watson Institute’s global alumni network has raised over $185 million in capital, created more than 1,900 jobs, and impacted over 10 million people worldwide. In Georgia, the 2023 Truist Foundation Fellows directly engaged over 600 individuals through Basecamps, fostering local collaboration and economic development.
