Former Atlanta Student Movement leaders, taking a breather from graduate study, joined forces again last week with friends who helped them spearhead last year’s drive on lunch counters, employment and segregated travel. Taking time out from an impromptu birthday party for Mrs. Lonnie [Alice] King [Jr.] are Benjamin Brown at Howard U. [Howard University] Law School, Ruby D. Smith, Lonnie [King, Jr.], also at Howard Law School, and wife Alice [King], Charles A. Black, King’s successor as COAHR Leader, and Herschelle Sullivan, now in the John Hopkins Institute for Foreign Relations.
