As part of our culinary programming this year, chef and author Toni Tipton-Martin will interview Tiffanie Barriere, an acclaimed Atlanta bartender, currently working freelance as “The Drinking Coach.” Barriere is also a public historian, and worked as a contributor on Tipton-Martin’s book Jubilee: Recipes From Two Centuries of African American Cooking. Together they’ll present an educational evening, discussing bartending, gender, and race in the American south.
