On the evening of March 12, 2020, Jobs With Justice, the Black Worker Initiative at the Institute for Policy Studies, and Morehouse College. cordially invites you to the launch of the Advancing Black Strategists Initiative (ABSI) on the campus of Morehouse College.
ABSI is a brand-new project that seeks to create a cohort of black economic justice and labor-focused strategists committed to leading, developing, and advancing policies and campaigns that support the collective power-building of working people, particularly in the South.
Join us on the evening of March 12, as we launch ABSI, alongside a strong network of leaders, academics, nonprofit organizations, labor unions, worker centers, and partners from around the country as we advance the work, goals, and vision of the program. Register now to reserve your spot.
In addition, Please join us for the 4th State of Black Workers in America Conference at Morehouse College in Atlanta, Georgia sponsored by the Black Worker Initiative of the Institute for Policy Studies (IPS) and featuring Steven Reed, Mayor of Montgomery, Alabama.
