The City of Atlanta and the entire Gospel industry mourn with the Family of Mother Bettie Ann Pace, mother of the world-renowned Grammy- and Stellar- Nominated “Gospel Anointed Pace Singers” who passed on July 7, 2020. She was surrounded by love from her 9 surviving daughters, her grandchildren, great-grandchildren & other loving family member.

Their family of twelve coming up and living in a 3-bedroom 1-bathroom house in a little place called Pool Creek in Southeast Atlanta, which included the parents along with 9 girls and 1 son. They are all very dedicated pillars in the church and Daddy Pace was a pastor and superintendent in the Church of God in Christ. Mother Pace was a strong, preaching, prayer warrior that took out time daily and prayed for everybody. Father and Mother Pace struggled to raise their family in a Godly Saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost -filled home. Every one of their children became worldwide Gospel singers and preached the Word traveling around the country. Mother Pace was one of the strongest praying women that ever walked the face of the Earth. Daddy Pace and their son Bishop Murphy Pace Jr. preceded her in death.

Mother Pace was diagnosed with stage 5 kidney failure and was given less a prognosis of less and one week to live in 2018. Everyone believes It was through her strong faith in God that she stared death in the face & said “I shall live and not die.”

Her “last praying wish” was to become a first-time homeowner. Actor, director, producer Tyler Perry granted her wish and made it come true for Mother Pace at the age of 80 in Sept. 2018. God allowed her to live nearly two years, enjoying her family and a brand-new home purchased, furnished and gifted by longtime family friend of daughter Shun Pace Tyler Perry.

Mother Pace lived a beautiful, loving life and her children were always at her side. She left an indelible sweet impression on the world because she helped everyone that she encountered. Mother Pace could always be heard praying and thanking God for his bountiful blessings “24/7.” Her Legacy will live on through her singing Anointed Pace daughters and their offspring.

“If anybody makes it into Glory, surely Mother Pace did”, says lifelong friend Sunshine Lewis‼️
