Atlanta, GA (December 2, 2021) – Brian Jordan Jr., who stars as Maurice Web on Tyler Perry’s hit BET series “Sistas,” will premiere his new film, “Georgia Sky,” at a special red carpet event on Thursday, December 16 in Atlanta, Georgia at The Foundry at Puritan Mills (916 Joseph E. Lowery Boulevard NW in Atlanta, Georgia 30318). Red carpet activities begin at 7:00 pm with a screening at 8:00 pm, followed by a post-show reception for guests.
The new film, produced, written by, and starring Jordan Jr., also stars Brittany Inge (“The Ms. Pat Show,” “Boomerang,” “The Hate U Give”) and Tina Fears (“Genius,” “Fatal Attraction”) and is directed by Rhavynn Drummer (“Good Girls,” “Brooklyn.Blue.Sky”).
In “Georgia Sky,” Levi, Ryan, and Tamika, three childhood friends, reunite in their home town for one purpose… or, so they think. Soon, they all realize that their true purpose is simply… home.
Brian Jordan Jr. is a classically trained actor, singer, and dancer who studied at NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts and The Debbie Allen Dance Academy, he has performed in Broadway national tours, Off-Broadway, and in many of the country’s most prestigious regional theaters before turning to television and film. He has released a new, upbeat, motivational R&B track that encourages listeners to believe in themselves. Most recently, in his hometown of Baton Rouge, LA, he produced a concert version of his new musical, Riley, which follows six young students through their collegiate matriculation at a historical public Black school in the bayou.
